My Story
I am photographer located in northern Illinois. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Journalism. Writing and photography are two passions of mine.
I fell in love with photography when I was in college. In order to obtain my minor in Journalism, I had to choose an elective and I chose photography. As they say, the rest is history.
I started out in landscape photography but quickly moved to portraiture. I love capturing aspects of people's personality through my work and will do my absolute best to incorporate your vision and ideas into the photos as well.

My Start
A friend of mine, who works for the National Weather Service, chose one of my photos to use alongside a weather graphic. To say I was honored would be an understatement. After seeing the response and interest from that post, I decided to start my photography business. Below is the picture that was chosen.
